Financial Donations for 2015/2016

Each year the Community Council make financial donations to various groups or charities whose work benefits those living within the Coity Higher Ward.

In the year up to March 2016 the following donations were made:

  • Coity Village Association (Skip for their Summer Fete) £175.00
  • Coity Festivals (Skip for Jam in the Castle) £210.00
  • Coity Village Association  (Senior Citizens’ Christmas Lunch) £319.00
  • National Coastwatch £120
  • Macmillan £200
  • Friends of Litchard Primary School (towards cost of setting up their School Fete) £100

In addition at the March 2016 meeting, the Community Council Members agreed to donate the following:

  • Shelter Cymru £200
  • St John Cymru/Wales £100
  • Llangollen Musical Eisteddfod £100
  • Marie Curie £225
  • Welsh Hearts £200
  • National Eisteddfod £100
  • Wales Air Ambulance £200
  • Bridgend Samaritans £150
  • 2nd Bridgend Cub Scout Pack £100
  • Urdd Eisteddfod £250
  • Cancer Information & Support Services £150
  • Teenage Cancer Trust £150
