Concerned about the plight of bees? Why not learn to keep bees yourself?
Bridgend Beekeepers Association are running a course for anyone interested in keeping bees. The course consists of a series of evening classes looking at the life cycle of a bee colony, beehive construction, dealing with diseases and pests, and how to process honey and beeswax. The theory sessions are followed up by practical sessions at our Apiary in Bryngarw Country Park, on Sunday mornings
Classes are held at Coytrahen Community Hall on Monday evenings, starting on 30th January.
